Murat Sor, MD

Murat Sor, MD is an interventional radiologist and a leader in the field of vascular and interventional radiology, dialysis access management, and venous insufficiency. Dr. Sor also specializes in minimally invasive treatments for uterine fibroids, peripheral artery disease, varicoceles, and more.

In addition to his role as HealthQare’s Medical Director, Dr. Sor is Senior Vice President and of Azura Vascular Care and serves on its Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Sor is responsible for developing clinical strategies to ensure that the caliber of medical services Azura centers provide represents the highest standards of quality care and clinical outcomes. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in healthcare performance improvement as a practicing physician, Dr. Sor is the clinical leader of the organization and can best be described as a consensus builder with a collaborative style.

Dr. Sor earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and his residency in radiology and fellowship in interventional radiology at George Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Sor serves as an assistant professor at Georgetown University. Interventional Radiology Fellows rotate through HealthQare Services as part of their training, gaining invaluable experience in the outpatient vascular access environment.

Murat Sor, MD has been named as a Washingtonian “Top Doctor” in interventional radiology for the years 2005, 2008, and 2017. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty certificate in interventional radiology.

Dean C. Preddie, MD, MA

Medical Director

Dean C. Preddie, MD, MA, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management procedures, including AV fistula access maturation and maintenance, central venous catheter repair/insertion/removal, and minimally invasive interventional procedures for treatment of acute and chronic endovascular diseases.

Dr. Preddie is an adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University.

Thomas Cade Raggio, MD

Interventional Radiologist

Thomas Cade Raggio, MD is an interventional radiologist specializing in vascular and interventional radiology. He has several special areas of interest, including uterine fibroid embolization, venous insufficiency, peripheral artery disease, and interventional oncology.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University, Dr. Raggio was awarded a medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internship in general medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago followed by a residency in radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC where he was named “Outstanding Resident of the Year” and was elected to serve as Chief Resident. He completed fellowship training in interventional radiology at Georgetown University Hospital.

Thomas Cade Raggio, MD is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology, and the American Medical Association.

Kevin Lowery, MD

Interventional Nephrologist

Kevin Lowery, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access maintenance, fistulagrams, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and dialysis catheter placement and exchange. Dr. Lowery treats patients at HealthQare Services in Arlington, Virginia, using the most up-to-date, pain-free techniques to help patients improve their quality of life.

Dr. Lowery earned his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, followed by a fellowship in nephrology at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.

Kevin Lowery, MD holds a certification in ASDIN Hemodialysis Vascular Access Procedures, and is board certified in nephrology.

Magdalena Lewandowski, MHS, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Magdalena Lewandowski, MHS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant at HealthQare Services in Arlington, VA. She assists in procedures such as: venous access including peripherally inserted central catheters, tunneled and non-tunneled central lines, dialysis access and implantable ports, dialysis access angiography, angioplasty, venous ablation, sclerotherapy, and microphlebectomy.

Magdalena earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University in Durham, NC. She continued her education and received a Master of Health Sciences and completed her Physician Assistant Certificate within the Duke University Physician Assistant Program.
