Stephen Loehr, MD
Interventional Radiologist
Medical Director
Stephen Loehr, MD is an interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management, interventional oncology procedures, and treatment for peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins, uterine fibroids, and varicoceles.
Dr. Loehr earned his medical degree from Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education at Wake Forest® School of Medicine. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mallinkrodt Institute of Radiology and Wake Forest School of Medicine, and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Alexandria Hospital.
Dr. Loehr currently serves as a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Azura Vascular Care. He co-authored numerous publications and was named “Top Doctor” in Cary Magazine. He is a Durham, North Carolina, native and currently lives there with his wife and beautiful daughter.
Stephen Loehr, MD is board certified in diagnostic radiology and also earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in vascular and interventional radiology.

William H. Pechter, MD
Interventional Radiologist
William H. Pechter, MD is an interventional radiologist that specializes in vascular access care and maintenance for dialysis patients. He also specializes in minimally invasive treatments for uterine fibroids, peripheral artery disease, varicoceles, and varicose veins.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at Dartmouth College and his master's in biomedical science at Florida Atlantic University, Dr. Pechter earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, where he also interned in internal medicine. He completed his residency at Yale Diagnostic Radiology and received his fellowship training at Yale Interventional Radiology, both in New Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Pechter is an active member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology. He has been involved with several research studies that have resulted in poster presentations at the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy, the American College of Radiology, and the Association of University Radiologists. His outside interests include playing guitar, tennis, squash, snowboarding, and computer programming.
William H. Pechter, MD is board certified in diagnostic radiology. He is also Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association.

Ellen Dillavou, MD
Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Ellen Dillavou is a board-certified vascular surgeon who practices in the full gamut of vascular surgery. Dr. Dillavou's special interests include dialysis access and veins. She received her medical degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Dillavou brings a vast amount of experience and skill, including time spent as the Chief of Vascular Surgery position from a local hospital. She is active in vascular surgery societies and lectures nationally and internationally on vascular disorders and treatments.
