Eugene Essandoh, MD

Eugene Essandoh, MD is the Medical Director at Azura Vascular Care White Marsh. He completed medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he remained as an associate faculty member of the Hospitalist/Internal Medicine Department for a year after his graduation.

Dr. Essandoh is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. He is also a member of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology and American Society of Nephrology. He specializes in interventional procedures, glomerular diseases, hypertension and critical care, as well as acute and chronic dialysis management. Dr. Eugene Essandoh previously served as Medical Director for Azura Vascular Care Capitol City for 8 years, caring for patients in the Montgomery, AL area.

Omar Karim, MD

Vascular Surgeon

Omar Karim, MD is a board certified vascular surgeon with a special interest in all aspects of dialysis access creation and maintenance. He utilizes noninvasive imaging and minimally invasive interventional techniques for the treatment of vascular disease, providing critical care and maintenance to people with a dialysis access.

Dr. Karim received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed an internship in general surgery at the University of California San Francisco – East Bay in Oakland, California, and residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Karim completed fellowships, clinical trials, and outcomes research in vascular surgery at John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland and Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.
