Dr. Bashar Ericsoossi graduated with his medical degree from Damascus University College of Medicine/Advocate Christ Medical Center. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago/ Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to complete two fellowships, one in geriatrics at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, Illinois and the other in nephrology at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2015, Dr. Ericsoossi has attended the annual VEITHSymposium, CiDA Meetings, Controversies in Dialysis Accesses, and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology conferences.
Dr. Ericsoossi is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He is a member of several societies including the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, American Medical Association, National American Arab Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the Syrian American Medical Society.
