Jose Ramirez, MD, FACS is a board certified vascular surgeon specializing in dialysis access management and the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD). Dr. Ramirez treats patients at Azura Vascular Care Miami.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Dr. Ramirez earned his medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University “Madre y Maestra.” He completed a residency in general surgery at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York and a fellowship in vascular surgery at State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Ramirez has practiced medicine in several prestigious medical institutions in New York, including Montefiore Medical Center, Kings County Hospital Center, SUNY Health Science Center, Brooklyn Hospital, and Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. More recently, Dr. Ramirez has practiced in Florida at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey and Mercy Hospital in Miami.

Philip G. Claire, DO is an interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management. He performs minimally invasive procedures to treat dysfunctional vascular accesses, providing critical care and maintenance to those with a dialysis access.
Dr. Claire earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. and Neuromusculoskeletal Sciences, M.S. combined degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Stony Brook Medical Center in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Claire then proceeded on to complete an interventional radiology fellowship at The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
