Tim Cabrera, MD, FASDIN
Interventional Nephrologist
Medical Director
Timoteo Cabrera, MD, FASDIN is an interventional nephrologist providing routine and complex dialysis access care to patients living with end-stage renal disease. With more than 20 years of experience identifying and addressing the causes of access dysfunction, Dr.
Dr. Cabrera received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he also completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology.
Dr. Cabrera is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology, the Texas Medical Association, and the Renal Physicians Association. He has been designated as a “Best Doctor” in San Antonio Scene Magazine and lectures regularly at industry conferences.
Timoteo Cabrera, MD, FASDIN is a fellow of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.

Rashid Sharaf, MD, FASDIN
Interventional Nephrologist
Rashid Sharaf, MD, FASDIN is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management and peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter placement, revision of AVF aneurysm, and percutaneous access creation. Dr. Sharaf currently serves on the Medical Advisory Board of Azura Vascular Care.
Dr. Sharaf was educated at Quaid-i-Azam University, the Army Medical College, and the University of London. He completed an internal medicine internship at Quetta Military Hospital in Pakistan, an internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York, and a fellowship in nephrology at Louisiana State University Medical Center.
He is a Fellow of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
Rashid Sharad, MD, FASDIN is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.

Boulos Toursarkissian, MD
Vascular Surgeon
Boulos Toursarkissian, MD is a vascular surgeon specializing in dialysis access creation and management, as well as comprehensive peripheral vascular care. He performs AV fistula creation, graft placement, and management of vascular accesses for hemodialysis patients.
Dr. Toursarkissian received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he also completed a general surgery residency. He then completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by an endovascular fellowship at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire at Sainte Etienne, France.
In his past role, Dr. Toursarkissian had served as Chief of the Vascular Surgery Division at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Toursarkissian is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. Boulos Toursarkissian, MD is also the co-author of numerous clinical publications.

Vanessa Montemayor, BSN, RN
Facility Administrator
Vanessa Montemayor, BSN, RN is a graduate of the Baptist Health System School of Health Professions Nursing Program. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from the University of Phoenix.
As Facility Administrator of STAR Vascular Access Center, patient care and satisfaction are her top priorities. Vanessa Montemayor, BSN, RN is committed to providing high quality care that meets the needs of patients, and she strives to exceed their expectations.

Jemma Reinhardt, MSRS, RPA, RT, (R)
Radiology Practitioner Assistant
Jemma Reinhardt, MSRS, RPA, RT, (R) is a graduate of the Radiology Practitioner Assistant Program at Weber State University. She also completed a two year radiology internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she specialized in interventional radiology.
She is board certified as a radiology practitioner assistant and radiologic technologist. Jemma Reinhardt, MSRS, RPA, RT, (R) specializes in minimally invasive, image guided, interventional procedures and is an active member of the Society of Radiology Physician Extenders and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
