Carlos Rafael Del Coro-Amengual, MD is a highly regarded general surgeon specializing in dialysis access vascular surgery. He performs minimally invasive AV fistula creation for dialysis patients.

Dr. Del Coro-Amengual earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus and Affiliated Hospitals, serving as chief surgical resident at Veterans Administration Hospital and Isaac Gonzalez Oncologic Hospital. Following residency, he went on to complete a clinical fellowship in renal transplantation at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital and the pancreas transplant program at the University of Minnesota Division of Transplantation.
